The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in partnership with the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council, is preparing to launch the 18th National Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition 2026, which will take place from 12 to 14 May at the Qatar National Convention Centre under the slogan “Promising Researchers for Qatar”.
The current edition of the exhibition will witness the participation of more than 2,900 male and female students from 249 public and private schools, in addition to over 650 teachers, through the presentation of more than 2,000 research and innovation projects across various scientific fields.
The exhibition’s activities are expected to include project presentations before judging panels, specialised training workshops, and “Academic Fame Lab” competitions, leading up to the recognition of first-place winners in the various competitions.
The exhibition serves as a national platform to support the culture of scientific research and innovation among students and to showcase their projects and scientific ideas, contributing to the development of thinking, analysis, and discovery skills, while enhancing their ability to apply knowledge in addressing real-world challenges and providing innovative solutions.
The ministry also invited educators, researchers, interested individuals, and various organisations to visit the exhibition and explore the students’ creativity and research projects in support of young national talents and to further strengthen the environment of innovation and knowledge.
The organisation of the exhibition comes as part of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s efforts to reinforce the culture of research and innovation within the educational environment and contribute to preparing a generation capable of competitiveness and knowledge production, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 in building a knowledge-based economy and developing human capital.
