Over 5,000 Visitors Benefit from “Wajehni” Scholarship Campaign at The Avenues

The Ministry of Higher Education has announced the successful conclusion of its national overseas scholarship campaign, “Wajehni,” held at The Avenues Mall over a five-day period with the participation of several government and academic institutions.

Dr. Bader Al-Busairi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, stated that the campaign achieved its awareness and guidance objectives by attracting strong interest from students and parents. The campaign welcomed 1,119 visitors on the first day, 1,121 on the second day, 936 on the third day, 1,167 on the fourth day, and 979 on the fifth day, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 5,322 visitors.

He noted that the campaign’s efforts will continue beyond its on-site activities through the ministry’s official social media platforms, which will provide information on scholarship plans and answer frequently asked questions.

Al-Busairi also announced that a dedicated technical support centre will be available at Al-Sanabel Tower from 1 to 7 July to assist students during the application period. In addition, the ministry will continue offering direct support through its “Skip Laine” service and will organise an orientation session for scholarship recipients to familiarise them with academic and administrative procedures before studying abroad.

At the conclusion of his statement, Al-Busairi expressed his appreciation to the campaign’s strategic partner, Kuwait Finance House, the Civil Service Commission, the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance, and all participating public and private entities for their contributions to the campaign’s success and its mission of helping students make informed academic and career decisions.
