His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, conducted an inspection visit today to Al Jumailiya Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School for Girls and Al Jumailiya Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School for Boys.
The visit coincided with the start of the 2026–2027 academic year and aimed to review the progress of the educational process, assess schools’ readiness to receive students, and ensure the provision of a supportive learning environment.
During the visit, His Excellency met with school administrations, teaching staff and administrative personnel, and attended parts of several lessons. He reviewed student attendance and the stability of the educational process during the first week of school. He also toured the schools as part of the Ministry’s continued field monitoring efforts to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment that contributes to achieving the best learning outcomes.
His Excellency also discussed a number of issues related to the educational field with officials and students and listened to their views and observations. He stressed the importance of continuing to work as one team and addressing any challenges that may affect the educational process, in order to provide an attractive school environment for both students and teachers in accordance with the highest standards of quality, security and safety.
In a press statement on the occasion, Dr. Al-Nuaimi said that the visit reflects the Ministry’s commitment to monitoring students’ conditions in the field, ensuring schools are fully prepared and stable, and verifying that all necessary requirements and facilities are in place to support the smooth running of the educational process.
“Our schools have achieved a high level of readiness, and the Ministry has provided all the necessary resources and conditions to ensure a successful and stable start to the new academic year, particularly in light of the exceptional circumstances facing the region. This reflects the efficiency of our education system and its ability to adapt and respond to different developments,” His Excellency said.
He also praised the significant efforts of school leaders, teachers and administrative staff across schools, commending their commitment and professionalism in preparing and organising for the return of students. He emphasised that human resources remain the cornerstone of a successful educational process and the achievement of its objectives.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education had completed all preparations for the start of the new academic year, with teaching and administrative staff resuming their duties before students returned. This helped prepare school environments and facilities to ensure regular attendance and support the quality of education from the first day of the academic year.
