As part of its commitment to expanding community partnerships and enhancing its role in supporting students and Arab talents, Nefdak held an official meeting with the Libyan community in the State of Qatar on 16 January 2026 in Doha, with official attendance from representatives of the Libyan Embassy and members of the Libyan community.

This meeting reflected Nefdak’s commitment to providing integrated educational solutions and building effective bridges of cooperation with Arab communities, contributing to the academic and professional empowerment of students and youth.

Official Attendance and Positive Engagement

The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Libyan Ambassador to the State of Qatar, His Excellency the Libyan Consul, a number of representatives from the Libyan Embassy, and representatives of the Libyan community. Nefdak was represented by its Executive Officer, Mr Abdulaziz Al Ansari.

The meeting was characterised by a positive atmosphere and constructive dialogue, during which views were exchanged on ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of education and training, in line with the needs of the Libyan community residing in Qatar.

Meeting Themes and Support Programmes

Discussions focused on presenting a range of accredited training programmes offered by Nefdak in various fields, including public administration, selected medical specialisations, and information technology, with the possibility of specialisation based on trainees’ needs and career aspirations.

The meeting also highlighted the added incentives and services provided by Nefdak to Libyan trainees, aimed at facilitating their educational experience. These include visa support, airport reception, logistical support throughout the period of stay, as well as the option to extend training programmes when required.

Official Coordination and Future Partnerships

Both parties discussed the importance of continuous coordination with the Libyan Embassy and Consulate to ensure smoother procedures and to align educational programmes with the needs of Libyan talents, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to students.

It was also emphasised that broad prospects for future cooperation would be opened between Nefdak and the Libyan community in Qatar, including joint educational and training initiatives that support youth and students throughout their academic journey.
