Academic Excellence: Celebration of Qatari Students’ Graduation from British Universities

Reflecting the State of Qatar’s commitment to its scholarship students and its dedication to supporting their academic journeys, the Qatari Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom held a special ceremony to celebrate Qatari graduates from British universities for the 2025-2026 academic year.

In his address, H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to the UK, praised the significant efforts of the Cultural Attaché office in monitoring students’ affairs and supporting them through to graduation and excellence.

Mr. Fahad Al-Kuwari, the Cultural Attaché, highlighted that Qatari students are graduating from the world’s top 200 universities, proving their high academic capabilities. Furthermore, Ms. Noura Mohammed Al-Ansari, Director of Scholarships at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, emphasized that the majority of graduates achieved excellence in specialized, high-priority fields that align with the country’s future goals.

The ceremony featured special recognition for students graduating with “Excellence” and first-class honors. It also included raffle draws for prizes provided by the sponsors. The event concluded with commemorative group photos of the graduates alongside the Ambassador and diplomatic mission members, marking the beginning of a new chapter for these young national talents to serve their country.
