The Ministry stated that the professional licence is available to teachers, coordinators, kindergarten deputy principals for administrative affairs, deputy principals for academic affairs, deputy principals for administrative and student affairs, and school principals.
The Ministry explained that the Professional Licensing System is one of the key pillars for developing educational and school leadership staff and promoting a culture of professional excellence. It is based on clear standards that assess actual professional practices, educational competencies, skills, and capabilities, contributing to improved performance and continuous professional development.
Professional licences are granted following a comprehensive and accurate assessment of professional practices, educational competencies, abilities, and skills, in accordance with specific requirements and standards for each professional level. This aims to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in educational performance.
The Ministry stressed that investing in teachers’ professional development is a direct investment in the quality of education and its outcomes, as teachers are among the most influential elements in the educational process. Improving their professional competence positively affects student achievement, the effectiveness of the school environment, and the overall quality of educational outcomes.
The Ministry concluded by affirming that the Professional Licensing System reflects its commitment to advancing the teaching profession and strengthening standards of quality and professional excellence, thereby enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of the education system and supporting national development goals.
