The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research received the Zero Bureaucracy Award in its second edition, which is presented to entities that excel in reducing bureaucracy, simplifying procedures, and enhancing service efficiency across seven main categories. Around 32 ministries and federal entities were evaluated during this edition.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, honoured the ministry’s team for the project focused on recognising higher education qualifications issued from outside the country, under the category of the impact of zero bureaucracy on making people’s lives easier.
This achievement reflects the ministry’s commitment to improving the customer journey and developing more efficient and seamless government services that help save time and effort. It also enhances the user experience through flexible and simplified digital procedures that align with the UAE government’s direction towards improving quality of life and strengthening a culture of institutional innovation.
