The Training and Development Center at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education concluded the activities of the third edition of the “Irtiqaa” Forum, held under the slogan “Because They Are Our Responsibility, We Are Their Safety,” with a series of specialised training sessions. The closing programme included three dedicated sessions for parents and students in the preparatory and secondary school stages, aimed at strengthening partnerships with students and parents as essential pillars of the educational process.
The session “Harbours of Reassurance,” designed for parents and presented by Dr. Ayesh Al Qahtani, sought to provide parents with practical tools to support their children’s academic journey. Meanwhile, the “Stronger Than Challenges” sessions, delivered to male students by Dr. Mohammed Al Enazi and to female students by Ms. Nawar Al Mahmoud, focused on developing students’ positive adaptation skills and self-learning abilities, ensuring alignment between efforts at home and in school.
The strong turnout for these sessions reflected the local community’s awareness of the importance of continuous development and keeping pace with the educational advancements promoted by the centre. The forum achieved record participation numbers, with more than 1,100 classes from preparatory and secondary school levels involved, and attendance exceeding 4,500 participants across the three sessions.
In this context, Ms. Najla Al Khater, Head of the Crisis Training Committee and Acting Head of the Training Programmes Planning Section at the Training and Development Center, confirmed that this initiative formed part of the committee’s efforts to ensure the continuity of training under current circumstances. She noted that the positive outcomes of this work would directly contribute to improving the learning environment and better preparing those within it.
The conclusion of “Irtiqaa 3” reaffirmed the role of the Training and Development Center as a key driver of positive change in the educational field through sustainable, high-quality programmes that balance content excellence with sector needs, contributing to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 in the education sector.
